DHCONSULTORA.COM IS LOOKING FOR DEVOPS ENGINEER (USA)

What You’ll Do:
Build our infrastructure as code that depends on repeatability to deliver resiliency, predictability, and scalability at a competitive cost point
Develop automation that would allow simplifying the operations of the environment being built and maintained.
Scout, try, experiment, and finally integrate technologies that will provide us the edge to build, develop, deploy and integrate our software in a cloud-agnostic fashion.

What You’ll Need:
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for a demanding project/product for at least one year is a must
Hands-on experience with Linux installing, upgrading and troubleshooting is a must
Using automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, helm(file) for deploying, integrating infrastructure at least one public cloud
Experience with any CI/CD platform, understanding best practices, using it on a regular basis
Experience with containerized applications as a developer or user
Hands-on experience with one or more public cloud platforms for two years or more
Good understanding of IP/Ethernet networking, especially HTTP protocol and UNIX systems
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience in integrating and using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic
Knowledge of common server and blade system hardware configuration and management for on-premise systems is a plus
UNIX shell expertise
Intermediary level programming skills (in Python, Go) are a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field
Strong conversational and written communication skills in English

Develop new modules and take work with development team on new projects that will eventually be handled by support team.

– Develop .NET web applications using C#, SQL, HTML5.0, JavaScript, REST Services

– Develop new Microservices using .Net Core running in containers and communication with different Data Stores (Relational or Non-Relational)

– Design and Develop software based on Agile SDLC methodology (stand-ups, estimation, iterative development CI, demos, retrospectives)  Follow up on tickets to avoid SLA breaches.

– For high severity incidents, an on-call roaster is defined and requires 24/7 availability from the support agent who is on call.

– Deploy patches/hot fixes to Test or Production Systems

– Deploy builds to Test or Production Systems

– Following up on events for reporting purposes

– Provide remote support using remote assistance tools

– Improve existing process and scripts What you’ll need:

— 2-3 years of experience  Fluid English, spoken and written.

— Experience in Linux along with IP/Ethernet networking as an administrator or advanced user is essential.

–Strong knowledge and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)

— Ability to work under minimal supervision, adhere to deadlines and effectively collaborate in a team environment

— Proactive mindset.

— Excellent communication skills to find rapid solutions in case of incidents

— Demonstrable organizational and time management skills.

Te unirás a un equipo distribuido que colabora en Estados Unidos y Argentina y que actualmente está desarrollando un sitio web y aplicaciones móviles (iOS y Android) para una plataforma de venta de entradas online enfocada a eventos deportivos. El sitio pertenece a una marca de deportes de alto perfil y se espera que venda miles de boletos por mes con mucho tráfico y niveles de transacciones. Además de la venta de entradas tradicional, la plataforma también ofrece la posibilidad de comprar entradas para eventos futuros que pueden ocurrir o no a una fracción del costo, lo que genera un concepto completamente nuevo para comprar / revender entradas para dichos eventos.
